Fall and Spring Musicales

Description and Purpose of Event

The Fall and Spring Musicales offer students an excellent opportunity to perform 1 to 2 pieces in a recital setting.

Eligibility

Students of all ages (including adult hobbyists) with any instrumentation and voice.

Registration Deadline and Info

FALL Registration deadline: October 14, 2026

SPRING Registration deadline: March 10, 2027

Click the button at the bottom of this page to fill out and submit registration form for Musicale (step 1), AND to pay registration fee (step 2). Please ensure that you do not close your window before finishing the checkout process, as your registration will remain incomplete.

Event Fees

$15.50 per student / discounted rate of $15 per student studying with an HMTA member when paying via Zelle or Check.

$31 per student / discounted rate of $30 per student studying with a non-HMTA member when paying via Zelle or Check. Entry by non-members is limited to 3 students per studio.

$8 per student / discounted rate of $7.50 per student in large ensembles (more than 3 members in the ensemble) when paying via Zelle or Check.

Event Requirements and/or Rules

Repertoire Requirements:

• 1 to 2 pieces up to 6 minutes total.
• Any solo, duo, duet, or ensemble piece in all styles of music is acceptable, including simplified versions.
• Memorization is required for solo pianists and singers.
• Please do not take repeats. The duration of the piece will be required on the registration form.

Teacher Responsibility:

1. Teachers are responsible for sending the registration form and fee. Please indicate the exact time for the duration.
2. Teachers are expected to attend and help on the day of the events. If a teacher is unavailable, please let the committee know and we will assign you other duties beforehand.
